Karl Lagerfeld revamps Liberation



On Tuesday, June 22, Liberation has entrusted his editorship the couturier Karl Lagerfeld.

From more than 160,000 copies, the newspaper came out in giant size of twenty-four pages.

In addition to a broad conversation, the designer talks about current issues, in the pages of the newspaper.

But this "participation" does not stop there. The paper also proposes a collector's edition, customized by Karl Lagerfeld.



For the occasion, Karl Lagerfeld has engaged in a broad interview: his childhood, his report to the fame, the women's clothing and art, his opinion on our time and history.

In a long interview, he discusses his passion for books ("My only luxury") and denounced the political correctness that prevails in the newspapers.

He began his day with an editorial meeting where the team's Liberation exchanged with him on issues of the day.



Armed with a briefcase "magic" which contains his drawing materials, Karl Lagerfeld was then applied to draw each subject submitted to him as writing.

Blockade in Gaza Taliban problem in Afghanistan through a portrait of Cristiano Ronaldo or Ségolène Royal, he has outlined clear and finalized his cartoons.



In addition, the journal itself is different, since it was published in a dual format on heavier paper and more luxurious.

Finally, to extend the recent launch of its aluminum bottles designed by Karl Lagerfeld, Coca-Cola Light has chosen to be the preferred partner of the Liberation giant and large display there.
