
First discovered the land by the Portuguese and then conquered by the Muslims during the war, Abel Habashi, before becoming an empire of centuries later. This country was not colonized by Europeans until 1935 when it was occupied by Italy and annexed the following year. This led to the Emperor Haile Selassie into exile when the country is in a great internal struggle. Finally, in 1941 the Italians defeated by Britain and its allies allow the emperor Selassie return home. He ruled until 1974 when the military junta overthrew the Marxist-inspired and founded the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
Hot uprising against the communist regime in 1991, and the country was to implement a transitional government of Ethiopia to lead to democracy. In 1994, Ethiopia adopted a constitution that led to the first free elections the following year.
Climate
Ethiopia is located in the "African century", the first three seasons, in winter from October to February. Followed by hot dry season until mid-June when the rainy season starts with a very heavy rainfall in the basin including the Tekeze. Temperature depends on the areas, high and low with high temperatures. The capital, Addis Ababa is located up a temperature range between day and a wide experience of the night with average temperatures between 4 and 26 degrees Celsius.
